Glaucoma is a stealthy condition in the eye that has no symptoms or pain early on, but damages the optic nerve by increased intra-ocular pressure…and sadly gets worse over time. Total permanent blindness is the worst case scenario when Glaucoma is left untreated for several years.  Risk factors include being over 40, diabetes, and a family history of the disease.

Many medical marijuana patients use cannabis to treat glaucoma. It seems high THC & CBD potency may be more important than the actual strain chosen to treat symptoms.
